I dropped my daughter off at the Student Care and then off to work.
Along the way, the cab and I had a chat..... suddenly the front vehicle braked on and off, the cabby had to do the same to avoid banging into her. Then the front vehicle came to a halt, luckily the cabby was in time to halt his as well but the vehicles behind him seems either to be tailgating too close or not paying attention at all! They banged into him and the sight was terrible.
I didn't know that in total 5 cars were involved until I turned my head.... !!
This is the 1st car, the one before her and causing her to brake has run off..
The last vehicle:-
Caught sight of this cute bike, it has two front wheel!!
The cabby was nice, he arranged for another cab to pick me up knowing the condition of the road. But I waited for an hour and no sight of the replacement cab....
The jam is terrible, everyone is basically slowing down just to take a look at what had happened. Especially involving so many cars....
All of the people involved in the accident cannot move their vehicles until everything has settled. Finally the TP instructed those with minor car damages to drive their vehicles to the left hand shoulder.
From there (after 1 hour plus), I decided not to wait any longer but instead walked up to Jalan Kayu exit and took another cab.
When I got to the office, everyone was asking on the accident.... I have to repeat many times.. and showing the photos that I have taken at the scenes several times too.
I got a call from the cabby's lawyer not long after I reached the office and were asked to go for a checkup at 2.50pm at an appointed clinic by them. Actually I didnt suffer much and were thinking not to go cause it is too troublesome but everyone asked me to go ahead. So I went and after that were given 3 days MC including today. After the checkup, I have to go to the lawyer firm to fill up forms and go through what had happened again today. Because of the 3 days MC, I have to file a police report. Boy, very troublesome....
Anyway, as long as I am OK, I will do my best to help the cabby out...
From what I had experienced today, my opinion on CARS changed. EUROPEAN MAKE CARS are indeed SOLID!! In Mandarin, it's 一分錢一分貨! I cannot image what will happen to me if I am in other countries make cars....
What a close shave!

Goodness. So close. Luckily you are not hurt.
Lucky me...
Cannot imagine what will happen to me if I am in other cabs...
When I were at the scene, I had minor injury and weren't afraid at all...
It's until I go through the photos that I had taken... Phew... *cold sweat**
