Bangkok Trip 6 to 10 Sep 2017 - Day 2

Another day has arrived and some of us woke up around 6am while the guys took their own sweet time.

We have booked for a day tour and it's from 8am to 6pm. The total for it was 1,650 Bhat which is equivalent to SGD  67.87. Sounds reasonable for us as we get to go many places. We forgot to take a shoot of the day tour itinerary but we managed to recall which we would prefer to go and not to go.

Driver came slightly late because of the bad traffic in BKK. While waiting for the driver, we took some photos outside the apartment that we were staying at.

Our 1st stop was the floating market and we didn't expect it to be so far away from the area that we are staying. All of us dozed off in the van. A time to catch up with our sleep... hehe

However, if we knew that it will costed us 1,000 Baht (SGD 41.14 ) each, we guess we won't even want to visit it. It was so expensive but it was a definitely a good experience.

Riding on the so called "jetboat" can really scare my life out of it! No joke..  Especially when mei told me that there are snake in the water!!! We finally reached the market and started to eat. No souvenir at all. The food in total costed us about 740 Baht but some were really nice.

Along the way, we visited the coconut farm which was given to me as a complimentary entry. Instead of visiting it and buying goodies, we went for photo taking!

Look at my handsome climbing a coconut tree!

After the ride, we played with the husky at the boat quay.. It was so cute, his eyes were beautiful and SKY was his name!

With this visit? Our expenses amount dropped dramatically!! How to survive for the next few days?

2nd stop was the Elephant Village. The ticket was high too. 400 Baht for each event and for each pax. We gave up and walked back to our car immediately.

3rd stop was to Erenwen Musuem. Honestly I have not heard about this place before but it is definitely an eye opener for me! or rather for all of us!

They have a portable walkman for individual and we can get to know more about the museum with it, however not many will listen fully to it.

It was a fruitful trip, the building and the sculptures were so beautiful.

We stayed for about an hour at this nice place.

We actually wanted to go to Husky Cafe after this but by the time we finished, it has closed for the day so we planned it for the next day instead.

Or next stop - coffin donation.

We just donated 500 Baht each person. We were given a slip to write our name and the amount we have donated and we pasted it to the coffin in the temple. After that, we headed to China Town, a place we went before on our previous visit but it was at a late hour and nothing much was left. This time we can make full view of it. Haha.

It was hot roaming in the street of Chinatown. Nothing much and as we were not hungry, we didn't sit down to eat. We just roamed about and stopped at a local specialties store and grabbed some goodies for families and colleagues. Then we head to a nearby 7-11 and got 2 big bottles of mineral water for our apartment. Hahaha.

Our last stop is the Ratchada Night Market. Some of the foods were very delicious. The seafood platter costed about 799 Baht. We can say that it is reasonable but it is not fascinating at all.

After that, we went AFTER YOU cafe. Deliciously ours!

Then Apartment Sweet Apartment for us!
