Bangkok Trip from 21/12/2015 to 25/12/2015 - Day 1

This is a trip that I had been looking forward to as I will be setting off with my kids, my parents, sister, sister-in-law, niece and nephew!

We were an hour early to the airport and time was very constraint. This was the 1st time that I had to be on last call for the flight.

Very anxious and hectic for the 9 of us.

1st day
OK, we are late! Quan, me and myself! I have been telling them to be quick and reminded everyone not to be late, in the end, turned out to be myself being late.

To save some of our time, I queued up to get the airtickets while some of them went for breakfast. In the end, they still have to be there as they need to verify their identities.

To sum up my frustration, my sister whom I had lent one of my luggage to her didn't bring it at all. Her husband told her that only a bag will do and she happily listened. OK, fine! Don't tell me if you are unable to fit everything into the bag!

We checked into the departure hall immediately after that and basically had little time to roam about. As we were reaching the boarding gate which was right to the end (took us a while to reach there), one staff came up to us and told us to hurry up as it is the last call to board. We had to rush as fast as we could and best of all, some are still far behind.

Look at my adorable parents!

This was taken on board the flight, the scene was so beautiful!

One of the meal that we had on flight.

At the airport, I met up with Chanchai. He was so nice to take his time to get to the airport just to wait and meet up with me. Really appreciated.

Not only that,he helped us to talk to the cabby and got a map to show them the direction to our hotel.

During the journey to our hotel, we saw many road stalls. Some even selling soft toys and big / huge ones too.

After about 30 mins, we finally reached the hotel - Marriott Executive Apartment.

I only took video of the hotel so was unable to upload any photo of it. So sad but I guess it won't be too troublesome to google for it.

We love this apartment as it is spacious, clean and it has many applicances.
After leaving our stuff in the hotel, we headed out for dinner.

This restaurant had good comments from my colleagues so we give it a go.

Ambiance - average
Food - Nice
But we still prefer Basil Inn which is located at E-Hub, Pasir Ris, Singapore. hahaha

After dinner, we roam about for while and headed back to the hotel to rest.

End of Day 1
