When my son was posted to NT, I felt the pain in my heart. Not because he didn't make it to NA, just that his future might not be as bright as those going to NA or Express. Nevertheless, kids individual and I trust he will be someone one day... so just let him be. When he has been promoted to Sec 2NT, I were again disappointed as he didnt make a big effort... He is a smart boy but he chose to use it on different things. OK again, kids individual and I trust he will be someone some day.
Then came the following bad news:-
1) My niece has been transferred from Express to NA. Reason was she has been play traunce and had not been to school for 3 months!!! Can you imagine?? 3 months and was not detected at all!? Not even by my STAY AT HOME sis??? Sometimes I am just wondering what is she doing at home? Sleeping, taking medicine, drinking 3 in 1 coffee and smoking?? Gosh, her life is in a mess and she didnt want to help herself. OK fine with me, but why can't she help herself to help her kids? What can I say??
2) Another niece is quitting school!!! Why, cos the school is wasting her time and not vice versa!! She will be retaining for a 2nd time if she chose to stay on.. But it is still better than quitting school...
3) My nephew has been transferred from NA to NT. Gosh, what on earth is happening?? All kids seem to deem exams as non important and schools as non existence. They don't know that this is the important leads to a better life....
What can I say....
