On our way to Tampines on bus service no. 39, I overheard 2 aunties saying that they were heading to Pasir Ris Downtown East when the bus is actually going in the opposite direction!! I hesitate for awhile before I asked them where they are going to...
Indeed I am correct, immediately I told them to alight, cross the road and take bus service no. 3 to Downtown East. They thanked me and I were feeling very happy for having opened my mouth and helped.
A few stops aways and suddenly I realised that I might have guided wrongly as bus service no.3 might not be travelling that direction. Oh gosh..... have I helped wrongly....? My daughter told me that I shouldn't have been such a KPO... instead of helping, it's vice versa now. Gosh.... what to do now, I cannot contact them.... I felt so bad.....
Throughout our shopping time, I kept thinking about this incident and it really affect my moods...
We headed back home soon in bus service no. 39 and on the way, I spotted the bus stop where I had told them to take service no. 3 and guess what, bus service no. 3 did serve this bus stop and I am very surprised and happy that I have not done anything wrong.... What a relief.....!!
Guess I will not open my mouth the next time in case I lead the wrong way again.
Being KPO or helpful is something not easy and carefree at all......
